It’s not often that I run a giveaway with so many amazing brands, the admin alone can be intense. With Wyatt turning one, I thought it would be a great excuse to celebrate and give back to you!

My name is Allison, I am a Mama bear to 2 beautiful children, June and Bryn. Having my first baby fuelled my creative energy, I created all sorts of things just because I wanted something unique and different for my little Junebug; it was only towards the end of 2017 that I decided to concentrate my energy on a couple of special pieces to share with other moms and their little babes. I started Little Antbear in April 2018 (we’re almost 1 too!!) and have tried to focus mostly on unique teethers (we do dummy clips and name tags too). I put all of my beaded teethers together by hand and have tried to create them to be unique, they’re something different and stand out! I’m almost certain our collection will grow – I have an obsession with felt flowers, so hopefully you’ll be seeing more of them in the future.

Declan and Leah

The inspiration for Declan & Leah started when I was pregnant with my first child and having to decorate his nursery. I soon realised that most of the items I had seen online wasn’t available in South-Africa so with the help of my talented husband we started brainstorming and designing our products.
My children Declan and Leah are 100% my inspiration behind everything I do and the new products that we are continuously designing. Our dreams and goals for the future would be to have a complete range of furniture, toy & decor items available online so that styling your little ones nursery , bedroom or playroom would be easy and affordable for the South African market.
At Declan & Leah we focus on unique products made with the little ones in mind. From our awesome kids slide and rocker, to our wooden chalkboard laptop and beautiful house beds , all our products are locally manufactured with love, and made to last. We are a small team , based in Cape Town , and we are incredibly passionate about what we do.
We want our products to open up a world of creativity for your little ones.

Miss Fancy Design

Prize – A Custom-Made digital Birthday Invite

Angelique, founder of Miss Fancy Design, is a multi-disciplinary, creative professional with extensive experience in graphic design. She has worked with companies such as Stefan Antoni Architects, ARRCC, and Mustard Seed Relationship Marketing.

Miss Fancy Design offers bespoke designs (ranging from wedding to birthday invites, party favours and the likes), all handmade with love and the finest of detail. With handcrafted stationery and nursery prints as her current focus, Angelique anchors and grows the creative identity of beloved children’s brands such as DandyLion Kids, Little Love Kids and Nectar & Ink in her spare time.

Her dream is to one day turn this passion of hers into a full-time vocation (she is currently employed by Mustard Seed Relationship Marketing, a corporate agency), so that she can spend more quality time with her ultimate inspiration, her 15 month old son.

Alive Again

Prize – 1 Month Supply of Mr O’s

Alive Again was born out of my desire to find a healthy snack alternative that didn’t break the bank. Mr.O’s followed soon after when I realized that my son Owen loved the “choccies” (the cocoa/cashew flavour).
My little brand has grown from there, with the addition of a second flavour, Peanut Butter.
All ingredients are free from nasties like preservatives and colourants. No sugar is added and the packaging is biodegradable.

Baby Republic Clothing was officially registered in 2011 and is managed and operated by a mom and dad duo. Our vision is to serve and support other young families with quality and affordable products – locally manufactured also means that we are able to do our part in creating jobs, stimulating the local economy and strengthening the clothing industry with quality garments made and produced in South Africa.
During the past eight years as an award winning brand, we have worked tirelessly on the stud-less babygro keeping it trendy, with our main objective being comfortable for baby. Rosie Bee

Prize – Romper and accessory

Rosie Bee was inspired by my daughter at a time in my life where I was finding out who I was as a new mother. As a trained botanist I am also inspired by nature and the beautiful countryside we live in and so you will find beautiful fabric prints in many of our garments. Rosie Bee is all about excellent quality, limited edition clothing for babies, toddlers and children that are both unique and comfortable. Everything we do has meaning and a whole lot of love behind it. The gentleman who sews all our garments was trained by my gran and aunt, he is a perfectionist and someone I could not be more grateful for. My dream is to expand slowly by training other local woman and men who are in need of work thereby supporting our local community.

Three Little Monkeys

We are a team of two sisters who were inspired by our collective 3 boys to create something we’d never seen before. Wooden milestone cards uniquely designed by ourselves, what we loved is that our products are made to last. They have the potential if you choose to be an heirloom item. You could start a new tradition with every new baby in the family using the cards, we are extremely sentimental and loved the idea of siblings, cousins and future generations using the same cards. It’s really something magical, we have many themes and milestone sets that will suit everyone.

I am Cherralle, I am a mom of two girls based in Johannesburg and a tiny bit crazy over stationery. I created the With Love Baby Journal in 2018 partly because of aforementioned obsession! Seriously though, being a mom is chaotic and through implementing small habits we can be intentional about our family lifestyle. Having a new baby is overwhelming but staying on top of your baby’s daily routine does not need to be. My name is Bianca and run a little Polymer Clay Jewelry Design House called Blixem Designs. I am a mother to an incredible little boy and I am currently pregnant with another boy (cannot wait to have a house full of boys!) who is due in July 2019.
I am a qualified graphic artist who works half day and enjoys spending time with my family during the other half. Family is my foundation and I am so blessed to have one that supports every crazy idea I have.
Blixem Designs was born from my love of “ear candy” and wanting to create something
unique in my “spare time” – there’s no such thing as “spare time” but for my own sanity I
make the time to create. Call it an artistic outlet.

I’m a graphic designer with a passion for good design & an obsession with typography, print & Pinterest. In 2017 I found a new love, adding textiles and sewing to my favourites in life.

I started off making playful threads for little people, inspired by my small person as most Mom-run businesses are. To be honest though, I think I’m more obsessed with rompers on toddlers than my daughter is, so I’m super chuffed to be making loads of fun rompers for smalls other than my own.

I’m so glad athleisure is now a thing. For the first time ever I’m now on trend as I’ve always been a jeans, takkies (sneakers for the overseas folks) & tee kinda gal (#momlife). I battle to pass up a good graphic tee, and with inspiration everywhere, I’m loving spending time designing and printing adult tees now too.

I am Janine, the owner and founder of Lia and Reese as well as the mother to 3 (yes 3!) amazing girls – aged 10y, 3y and 22m! With the age gap between my first and second born I soon realised that Maternity/Nursing wear weren’t available in chain stores anymore. Natralogic

Being involved in the skincare industry, I was fortunate to be able to develop products to use during my pregnancy, which I made sure contained only the safest and most effective natural ingredients. This then inspired me to launch Natralogic, South Africa’s first all-natural skincare range developed specifically for the needs of pregnant women, with the intention of helping other moms feel empowered and at ease over their pregnancy skincare choices.

Bleached is run by myself, Tarryn Withers, a so called ‘Mom-boss’ who is currently learning the ropes of how to juggle business and raising a tiny human. Bleached has been around since 2010… Although, it was only in 2017 that we launched our online shop. We are now exclusively an online retailer and do not have a physical retail store – alas… no more sitting in traffic! Based in Johannesburg, South Africa we manufacture most of our products using reclaimed and recycled wood. We design and manufacture solid timber furniture and décor. All our products are handmade, not mass-produced and unique in every way possible. A lot of love and attention goes into each item we make. The true beauty, of course, comes from the history behind each piece of reclaimed wood – giving old wood, new life and purpose. No two pieces are ever alike. Isn’t that great? We firmly believe in supporting local small business. It creates jobs and empowers people such as our carpenters and employees. We are proudly South African and believe in trying our best to find locally sourced and made products and materials.
