The SPCA in Kloof is a wonderful venue to take your children, or just go for a chilled morning with your girlfriends. Let’s start with the fact that the setting is just stunning, the giant trees cast dappled light upon the grassy seating area. They have a number of charity shops, where you can donate goods or go and find some gems for a really good price. These little shops include general knick knacks, records (vinyl), books, jewellery, clothing, paintings, prints and frames, toys, nursery and so much more. Jungle gyms for days…. yes there are lots, so no fighting of who plays with what. You can also take your dog, if they are well behaved and can go on a leash.
Open during the week and on Saturdays and some public holidays from 8am to 12pm. The tea garden makes the best breakfasts and lunch options, with a wide menu, very reasonable pricing and just a place to unwind.
